112. Baffled

Sunday 18th October

I am baffled. Really. Lately my body seems to just keep pounding on the weight, it’s ridiculous. Each time I step on the scales the number goes up. At first I thought it was maybe just some sort of fluctuation, so I’ve gone back to daily weighing — still happening. Today I hit a high of 86.2…I mean, come on. I haven’t been this weight in ages. I don’t get why it’s happening.

Part of the problem is that there are just so many excuses. I’m not drinking all the water I should be drinking. Maybe it’s that? I’ve been going to the gym and I’m still sore….maybe that’s the reason? The food at dinner has been quite heavy — could that be it? Or maybe it’s just the simple fact that, even when I’m doing exercise, I haven’t been tracking properly. Full stop.

I called to ask for menus for the food here. No luck. Apparently they don’t even have the menus anymore. It’s like constantly going to a party where all the food is potluck. How do you control that?

I don’t know, but I’m going to have to figure out a way.
